Paper Boat is an honest attempt to fix something that's genuinely broken. The formats of most dating apps are the problem. The photo-first filter, the composed bio, the swipe, the boosts — these aren't neutral design choices. It's cruel. They make people feel disposable whilst on the end of a predatory business model. We built the whole thing again, from scratch.
